Just under four years ago, I desperately wanted the coaching business I now have— a full practice, clients I love, six figures, creativity, deep and meaningful service, and a feeling of alignment in life and career.
And I tried — hard. I listened to all the podcasts and took the online courses from the “experts,” made a beautiful website, posted on social media, and virtually nothing happened.
I kept thinking (and being told) that the START was marketing and END result was wildly helping people and transforming lives. Time ticked by and I wasn’t making more money or getting more clients. The clients I did have were being served by me but not nearly as powerfully and creatively as they could have been, and I was spending a lot of time “growing my business” in areas that weren’t exciting to me and created very little ROI — areas like marketing, niche, and ideal customer avatars.
Finally, I used all of my savings and hired my own coach (I haven’t been without her since)—because she was doing what I wanted to do and she was doing it successfully.
I made my investment back within 6 weeks and was making six figures by the very next year. That’s great, and that’s not the best part.
What ended up growing my business (and my LIFE) was what I learned about the art of enrollment through LOVE and SERVICE.
I didn’t know it was possible to transform lives FIRST and foremost. That I could spend my days doing that (what I loved) RIGHT NOW and the money would come— in abundance.
Learning how to outrageously serve my community through slowed down, life-changing conversations is what changed everything for me. I teach people to do the same.
