Show Notes:

NYC based Comedian Chani Lisbon first lost her hair five years ago as a side-effect of a psychiatric medication. When her hair fell out again after getting off of the medication, she was diagnosed with Alopecia. In this episode, we discuss Chani’s story, the ups and downs she experienced on this journey, how the Bald is Beautiful movement helped her, and why she decided to take her hat off (both literally and figuratively) and show the world her truth!

Weekly Challenge:

This week we are diving into a self-love adventure. The bald is beautiful movement changed Chani’s life for the better because of the mirror work that was suggested to her. So, this week we are to follow suit. Take a look in the mirror every morning and say, “I, _____, am a beautiful and wonderful person.”  Before you scoff and decide that this is just NOT FOR YOU, think about last week’s challenge. Remember :Ask deeper questions and listen for deeper answers. So, why are you scoffing at this? Does it scare you? How come? I do hope you join me and Chani on this challenge … ESPECIALLY if it scares the shit out of you. Follow me on Instagram @sheajackie for updates and other wellness fun!
